The next Colden Mansion Ruins site meeting will be held on June 26 (Saturday) at 10 a.m., at the site of the ruins at the junction of NYS 17K and Stone Castle Road.
The Summer Research meeting will be held at 3 p.m. on June 27 (Sunsay) at Wallkill River School.

I just found your wonderful information on the Colden Mansion. I grew up in Whitestone, Queens, NY and Judge Charles Colden was a vestryman of the church I attended. The church, Grace Episcopal, is located on land once owned by Francis Lewis. As a junior history major in college I read part of Colden's excellent writings on the Iroquois Confederacy. As a senior honors student one of my projects was a study of Cadwallader Colden. When my mother told Mrs. Colden about my work she invited me to come to her home and gave me access to many family documents about Cadwallader Colden. Another excellent source of primary information is the NY Historical Society.
Cadwallader Colden contributed so much in so many areas to Colonial America. I am glad that study of his life and work is still going on.
